Last weekend I was framing out a new window opening, thought I had it all figured out, but ended up like half an inch off. Had to redo the whole thing, super frustrating. Anyone else had this happen or am I just terrible at measuring?

I've definitely been there myself. Last summer, I was framing out a new sliding door and triple-checked everything—or so I thought. Got the whole frame up, stepped back to admire my work, and realized it was off by almost an inch. Still not sure how that happened... Ended up spending another afternoon redoing it. Measuring seems simple until you're actually doing it, then suddenly it's rocket science.
